OUR STORY

In June 2020, the Girls For Business 501(c)3 non-profit was launched by a group of high school girls with similar passions in business. Since then, the Girls For Business initiative has been led by a team of 150+ high school and undergraduate students from 15 countries. As business education is rarely touched upon in the school curriculum, GFB's central goal is to expand the access of business education resources to all young women. Over the past few years, the organization has impacted tens of thousands of girls from around the world. Accordingly to the data obtained from Google Analytics, the demographic of GFB website's audience encompasses individuals from a broad spectrum of global origins, spanning across an extensive range of 188 countries and regions.

Projects

Our organization’s key objectives are to provide free business educational resources, foster connections between self-driven girls, and offer access to seasoned mentors in the business field.

Mentorship Program: 

• Girls For Business mentors are experienced undergraduate students with seasoned experience in the business field.
• Through virtual mentorship sessions and email correspondence, mentees receive personal and educational guidance, business resources, and career advice coming from GFB mentors.
• The mentorship program is FREE and open to all English-proficient girls in grades 6-12. Currently, the program has had 250+ enrolled mentees.
• Mentee applications for the upcoming cycle of mentorship are open to applications at bit.ly/GFB-mentee!

Resource Program: 

• Girls For Business publishes biweekly business newsletters on the website blog.
• Girls For Business content creation on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok showcases educational collections such as 'Tips + Tricks', 'Business Education', 'Businesswoman of the Month',  and more!

Slack Platform:

• Girls For Business welcomes all girls to its Community Slack!
• Members can network with young women with similar interests, receive personal and professional guidance from accomplished businesswomen, and foster connections with girls from all over the world!

Girls For Business organizes monthly business virtual events.
