4 BUSINESS WORKSHOPS!
Interact with highly esteemed business professionals and business students from world renown business schools
- Intro to Business in the Workforce (12-1 PM EST): Highlighting aspects of various business pursuits, from internships to corporate life to entrepreneurship!
- Entrepreneurship 101 (1-2 PM EST): Offering insights into starting, maintaining, and owning a business, while providing advice to teen entrepreneurs for ideating and scaling their small businesses.
- Social Media in Business (3-4 PM EST): Exploring social media and its applications in business, and discussing potential careers in media marketing.
- College Applications for Business Pursuits (4-5 PM EST): Featuring college panelists from renowned universities and business schools, who chat about their experiences in different business majors, their college application experiences, and college app guidance for high school students.
Documentary Premiere: GFB Presents ‘Women in Business’ : 2-3 PM EST
- Exclusively view the first screening of the “Women in Business” documentary, a Girls For Business-produced film that explores the stories behind accomplished businesswomen and their business empires
Business Pitch Competition with Cash Prizes : 5-6 PM EST
- Earn prizes while perfecting your business pitch
- All middle and high school girls are eligible to participate! Competitors may compete individually or with a partner
- Cash scholarships will be awarded to the top placers!
Networking Hour : 6-7 PM EST
- Join Networking Hour to meet, chat, and connect with other girls!! Featuring rapidfire speed networking, community icebreakers, and inspiration discussion sessions for student entrepreneurs
- Get to know girls (and the next generation of young businesswomen! 🤍) from all over the world through speed networking and team activities
Awards Ceremony : 7-7:30 PM EST
To register for the event, you must complete the GFB Con RSVP form at bit.ly/GFBCON2021. Further conference logistics and the Zoom information will be sent out a few days prior to the conference. Once the RSVP form is completed, you will also be entered into all conference raffles for the events that you are present at to win PRIZES and GFB SWAG!
If you wish to compete in the Business Pitch Competition, make sure to confirm your sign-up in the RSVP form and register for a time slot between 5:00 - 6:00 PM EST at https://signup.com/go/mZCZMeR. All middle and high school girls are eligible to participate, and competitors will test their business development, problem solving, and business development skills! Conference competitors will have 15 minutes to prepare a 2-3 minute business pitch for an ideated business proposal, in response to solve a community problem in a given scenario. All judging decisions will be final, and winners will be announced at the conference Awards Ceremony at 7:00 PM EST. Cash scholarships will be awarded to the top placers!
